Divorce : What are my rights? and can I kick my wife out?
you know what? you shouldn't get married if you're not truly ready to give up your damn life. now look what you got! scraping and scrounging trying to keep what you had.
sorry hon - go ask a lawyer.Hello everyone, my wife has recent told me she no longer loves me after been married 1 1/2 years, 9 yr relationship. She is a trainee solictior so i am worried about assets etc. The house we have is a joint mortgage, I put 8K down of my own money, then we added 17k to the mortgage of her dedt as she couldnt afford to live. She is happy been friends and sharing the house. But I dont want this for long as its difficult as it is. My 2nd year wedding anniversary is in 1 month. Any guidance would be appreciated, I have already booked an estate agents to value the property, and have book a free consultation with a solicitor next week.
My Questions are :
1. Would the divorce solictior take this 17k into account when we cover financies and what she is entitled too or not?
2. If she agrees for me to buy her out, can I ask her to leave if I can pay all the bills?
3. If the house is in negative equity, then she will have no payout? can I still ask her to leave if she cannot afford to have the same lifestyle.

Add doctor's recommendation to your settlement so the whole picture gets clearer for the lawyer you have resorted to. Most importantly, if you are in part liable for the accident, don't hesitate to confess that. Problems explained are likely to get solved in most cases.
As of the fees, it differs from one lawyer to another. Generally, if the case is settled before it goes to the trial, you have to pay a 33% of the fund you receive from the government. If the case goes for a trial, you have to pay a 40% for that. However, these figures may fluctuate according to the fee-structures of different lawyers. However, final discussion and settlement of the issue fully depends upon the mutual relationship between you and the personal injury lawyer you opt for. So discuss your case as much as you can about its ins and outs of the accident that you have gone through.
